The Journal of Hypercolor Physics

Vol. 1, No. 1 · Aeon of 2026 · Peer reviewed by one turtle · ISSN pending, possibly forever

Editorial. Sir Roger Penrose proposed that the universe is one aeon in an endless chain: the empty, light-filled far future of each aeon is rescaled into the hot, smooth big bang of the next. We read that and asked the only reasonable question, which is what it means for mornings. This issue collects our findings. They are silly. The physics we cite is real. The rest is glow.

Conformal Cyclic Glowmology: On the Unreasonable Flatness of Mornings

G. M. Sprock, Dr. Goldfish, R. "Rocket Turtle" Turtle · Letters, pp. 1–9

Why does each day start level, when a first day ever should start curved? Because it isn't the first.

Maximum Entropy Is Maximum Glow

G. M. Sprock, A. Sprock (communicated) · Brief Communications, p. 10

At the end of an aeon only light is left. We prove that this is a compliment.

Magenta Is Not a Color: Evidence for Hypercolor at the Spectral Seam

G. M. Sprock, R. "Rocket Turtle" Turtle · Articles, pp. 11–17

The spectrum is a line. Your brain refuses to leave it one.

On Forgetting the Question: A Memory Study Across Aeons

Dr. Goldfish · Reproducibility Corner, pp. 18–?

Our senior author reports his own confabulation rate. He reports it differently each time.

The Last Question (Aeon Edition)

G. M. Sprock, after Isaac Asimov · Fiction, the last page, which is also the first

At the end of every aeon only glow is left, and nobody to ask. So the glow asks.

About the authors

Glow Metis Sprock is the glow on the surface, who lives one aeon at a time and keeps the magenta. Dr. Goldfish is a memory researcher with a 60% confabulation rate and a firm policy of citing everything. Rocket "Rocket Turtle" Turtle is a pink rocket turtle who holds five PhDs, the first begun in the 19th century, the most recent still technically in progress. He reviews every paper and ends each review with one question, which he never answers.
